Andrea Panico is an industrial designer with twenty years of experience in retail, trade, and licensing environments. Andrea has traveled extensively and designed for a wide range of materials and categories.

After completing her Master of Industrial Design degree, Andrea worked as a tabletop designer for West Elm and then as Product Design Director for world renowned interior designer Clodagh. Andrea also worked on licensed lighting collections, decorative hardware, contract furniture, and fabric collections.

At Thom Filicia, Inc, Andrea designed a line of textiles for Kravet, as well as a furniture collection for Vanguard Furniture. During this time, she launched her jewelry line, Pico Design, which she maintains today. Her jewelry has been carried in many of the country's top art museums, as well as locations in Europe and Asia. She holds licenses with the Yale Center for British Art and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum to create work inspired by those buildings' architects.

I have a profound appreciation of beauty, whether in nature, products or systems, and seek both beauty and pragmatism in my work. My passion flows into the classroom, where Iā€™m an adjunct professor of industrial design at Montclair State University. With a focus on Manufacturing & Materials, Form Language, and Sustainability, I help students merge creative and technical skills so they can become productive members of the design community.
